Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Santa Fe / Bosques

I like to explore CDMX’s fine dining at least once per month. This month’s choice was LiLou’s. I chose the restaurant based on its reviews, location and the menu. We ordered the tostadas de atún and salmon carpaccio to start. Both starters were excellent. The salmon carpaccio came with really nice crackers. And the was dressed with capers, dill and a vinaigrette. We also ordered the rib eye steak with pommes frites and asparagus. The steak was amazing and so were the fries! It tasted like it was grilled over coal. It was so good. If you like your steak American style “medium” then order it 3/4s done. I had to send my medium steak back for a quick flash to make it less rare. But regardless, I was super pleased. Ambiance was great, and service was impeccable. The music was a little loud and it is techno music (not Johan Sebastian Bach or Jazz) but we are in CDMX and not somewhere else. So I have no complaints whatsoever. I liked this place so much, I plan on bringing my girlfriend here for her first British tea. Five stars all around.

Lovely. Top places on the city. Artsy, architecture. Intention and gestures all over the building. The eggs are delicious, orange tea lovely. I loved it.

Truly a once in a lifetime experience! The cutest interior design, coming from someone who has seen both Las Vegas & Irvine HK café locations, this one is so much better. Food was delicious and not just aesthetically pleasing. Very enchanted with my overall time there.

Great little place for breakfast, coffee, and pastries. Had an excellent breakfast. 5 stard we will be back in the future
