Arthurs Steakhouse started in 1948 by Arthurs Bates and his wife off of McKinney Avenue in the Dallas uptown District. It moved to the Gold Towers on Central Expressway and after decades, in 2001, it relocated to Addison where is thrives today. Our party of 4 had a wonderful time because we were given a table in a quiet room in the restaurant. We were able to have great conversations but just when our food arrived a party of 16 came in and sat next to us. After a few minutes them became very very loud and impeded our conversation. After 15 minutes or so I ask the waitress if she could ask them to lower their conversation. She did not do that. I finally told them of our problem and they did quite down a bit. I don’t think they realized how loud they were. In a nice restaurant I didn’t expect to deal with this noise level. Wish the manager would have taken care of this . Not sure if my friends will go back

Sat in the “gazebo” across from the main entrance. Absolutely lovely. Ambiance was great and food was really good. They store their wines in a cellar so the older wine that I selected had aged properly. Absolutely will be back the next time we are in town.
