Founded in 2006 as Mahony & Sons, we operate two locations in Vancouver at the Convention Centre West and False Creek and recently transitioned to our new ‘Mahony’s Tavern’ brand that better reflects our long history as a cornerstone of the Vancouver hospitality scene. Both locations are prized for their expansive dining rooms, private group spaces and patios, all of which offer views that showcase the picture-perfect views of the ocean, mountains and cityscapes for which Vancouver is famously known.Perfect for any group occasion — or no occasion at all — our new food menu focuses on classic West Coast fare and offers a wide array of shareable snacks, seafood dishes, artisan hand-tossed pizzas, fresh salads and bowls and gourmet handhelds. Our beverage menu highlights some of the very best craft beer and wine from BC’s own backyard and well beyond its borders, in addition to classic cocktails, ciders, seltzers and more.

For over 40 years, our family has served traditional Cantonese food and dim sum to generations of devoted customers. We’re proud to continue that tradition, while at the same time, making it our own.For centuries, it has been Chinese custom to pair dim sum’s delicious bite-size dumplings, buns and other small snacks with freshly brewed tea for morning and mid-afternoon meals. This pairing led to the expression “yum cha,” which not only means “to drink tea,” but also symbolizes getting together with friends and family. At Little Bird, we’re starting our own tradition. We believe that “yum cha” means getting together with friends and family for dim sum at any time. Not just paired with aromatic teas, but also amazing local craft beers and wines.Talk Sum. Eat Sum. Sip Sum.

Last time I dine in was almost by the end of summer and the experience was mot the best, bad service, cold food and the place just looked unpolished. However, tonight felt that somebody came and brought up this place again. We both order the burger with fries, plating and portion just felt right for what you paid. Service was good our serve was super helpful with all the questions. As an observation, It took almost 25min to bring our food to the table, considering that the place was almost empty. At the end was not a biggie, since beers were served as soon as we sit in, they are always the best of this place. Glad to see this place back in, keep it going guys, you’re doing something well.

Mahony’s always pours an excellent Guinness! And, we thoroughly enjoyed the Paddy’s Turkey Sandwich seasonal special. Unfortunately, the noise level was off the charts which was odd for lunch time. Service was friendly and attentive.

I had a lot of fun at the pop up Halloween bar. It felt closer to a Halloween menu with Halloween decorations, more than a pop up Halloween bar, but the drinks were interesting and the food was really good! I ordered the Margherita Pizza and it was probably the best I’ve had yet
