Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Lakewood

Haven’t been to Heck’s in a few years. Still has the best burger in the 216! The Brussels sprout Caesar salad was wonderful and big enough to share with the table. Great meal and fun casual ambience.

We were here for Valentine’s Day with friends and it was great. They gave us cute Valentine’s Day cards with scratch-off activity cards which we thought was a cute treat! It was very busy on Velentine’s Day and yet we were seated right away and not rushed at all. Very nice!

We were taken 15 minutes before our reservation which is a plus, but did not get a standard table as we requested in open table. (Just getting that out of the way so that the hostess can double check as patrons come in) Now, the server, the well managed staff and the manager were all very hands on and were very social. The server checked in often and the manager thanked us for coming. We started the meal with a cup of their famous Chicken Paprikash Soup. It did not disappoint. Finding good short ribs on menus is a bonus. They were exactly as described on the menu, the portion was adequate, they were fork tender and overall plain delicious. The Salmon was pan seared medium as requested and also amazing. The food came out in an adequate amount of time and it was hot! We were extremely impressed and will be quick to visit again, especially since it is in the neighborhood.

The food here is always amazing! Chef Bower kills it every time and we had a nice evening out. Thank you!

We made a reservation here as we were heading to a show and were in the neighborhood. We loved the ambiance with the dark ceilings and windows. The menu had enough diversity to satisfy our group of 4 and there was a large beer/wine list. Service was super prompt and the food portions were generous and delicious. Would definitely return if we were in the area again.
