Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Platt Park

What an amazing restaurant! We came in with the party of eight and the entire process could not have been better. Our server was stellar, absolutely perfect in every way. She was patient, kind, fast and courteous, even with three kids under 12. We had such a great night thanks to her and Thirsty Lion!

Place is very popular. We arrived bit early for our reservation and unfortunately were not able to get it moved up to sit in the dining area, but we were able to sit in the bar. Really liked that the high top tables have foot rests. Makes for a much more comfortable seating situation. Drinks were good. Food was good as well. Server was attentive. Would have been nice to have water at the table offered. Overall, a good experience and we would and will come back again.

Really liked the vibe of this place. I don’t know if our waitress had a couple of big parties but it took awhile to even get water to our table. We made reservations and didn’t have to wait for our table to be ready it was good to go right when we got there. The food was pretty good, mashed potatoes were wonderful, sautéed veggies were also good, I had the chicken and it could’ve used a bit more seasoning. My family enjoyed their meals and the bar was quick with the drinks.

Server was good but forgetful. I think she was just slammed with a large section. Had to ask 3 times for my drink. There was a large event being hosted at the restaurant so 2/3 of it was taken. Drinks from the bar took a long time and you could tell they were made in a hurry. Food was good.
