There’s something about a walk under the canopy of an old growth forest, or a brisk stroll on the seawall that awakens the senses and reinvigorates the soul. Experiences like this stay with you. And they inspired us to craft a lineup of beer to evoke that very same feeling. From windstorms to daytrips to incredible sunsets best viewed from the beach, every beer we make is a tasty tribute to Stanley Park and the experiences had within it. And just like the Park, we craft each one to be an exciting break from the everyday, an experience to be explored and savoured.

Whether you're joining us for lunch, a drink after work, or a group dinner with friends and colleagues, we're honoured to have you with us.Steamworks gets its name from the famous Gastown steam line that runs through our premises. Our onsite brewery uses steam to fire its kettles. The instant heat of steam allows for greater brewing finesse, and most importantly great tasting beer. For over 40 years, our family has served traditional Cantonese food and dim sum to generations of devoted customers. We’re proud to continue that tradition, while at the same time, making it our own.For centuries, it has been Chinese custom to pair dim sum’s delicious bite-size dumplings, buns and other small snacks with freshly brewed tea for morning and mid-afternoon meals. This pairing led to the expression “yum cha,” which not only means “to drink tea,” but also symbolizes getting together with friends and family. At Little Bird, we’re starting our own tradition. We believe that “yum cha” means getting together with friends and family for dim sum at any time. Not just paired with aromatic teas, but also amazing local craft beers and wines.Talk Sum. Eat Sum. Sip Sum.

My girlfriend has celiac disease, and she is writing this review. ** I have been celiac + hashimotos and hypothyroid for years, we had the chips and dip- which tasted like bougiuèe artichoke fish and chips sans fish; phenomenal. It has been × 3 hrs, no symptoms. We paired it with a pitcher of blackberry (daiquiri?) For $30- 2 people had the salmon goddess bowl and chorizo prawn jambalaya (both gf) for $100 Amazing experience!

Excellent food! 5 of us ate here on a busy Thursday evening, and everything arrived hot, fresh, and tasty. My expectations were low based on a meh experience at this location a couple years ago, but I was happily surprised at the immense improvement!

First time at Little Bird - loved it! This is a true neighbourhood gem - the food was terrific and service was great. We tried a variety of dishes - the baby gai lan, pot stickers, vegetarian shanghai bun, etc, plus the green tea sesame ball which I absolutely loved. The portions are a good size for sharing between two people and the range of flavours between the dishes was wonderful. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back soon.

I had a lot of fun at the pop up Halloween bar. It felt closer to a Halloween menu with Halloween decorations, more than a pop up Halloween bar, but the drinks were interesting and the food was really good! I ordered the Margherita Pizza and it was probably the best I’ve had yet
