STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

Food was fantastic. We had the seafood salad, lobster mac n cheese, tuna poke bowl, and sesame steak bowl. All were great. Love the ambiance in the restaurant. Seating is close together but not uncomfortably so.

Absolutely a wonderful place for friends to get together and enjoy a wonderful meal. The live music playing in the lobby was a beautiful touch. For Valentine’s Day the waiter bringing the women at the table along stem rose was such a sweet surprise. I would absolutely come here again. We ended up buying several appetizers and sharing, but the rest of the menu looks delicious.

This was our first time at The Marlowe and we really enjoyed it! We are frequently looking for new places in downtown Knoxville for special events - Valentine’s Day in this case. The food, ambiance, and prices were great for this occasion! I had the roasted duck and my wife had the lamb chops as our meals. And we had fried oysters with caviar, and crab bisque as appetizers! They were all tasty, delicious and good portions. We liked the high table seating in the bar area, but the regular seating area looked as comfortable. Service was friendly and professional. All high-end dining without breaking the bank! We will be back and will highly recommend The Marlowe to our friends.
