Johnny’s Downtown, opened in 1993, is similar to the original Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Road, featuring pasta, veal and fish. The setting, a refurbished 1860’s Warehouse District building, formerly a general store, is the drinking and dining spot of locals and business people alike.     My food was really good, I ordered the stuffed mushrooms, iceberg wedge salad, and the salmon entree everything was delicious! The service could have been better, it took a while for the bartender to take for my order, she never took the empty plates. (I sat at the bar so it wasn’t much space) I did have a bunch of flies flying around my food. Also I don’t drink there wasn’t a mocktail option on the menu.

    For it being Valentine’s Day, all I can say is they really did an amazing job. Not just saying it, but it really was, amazing waiting staff, and quick and execellent food. To see the least it’s a must have when going to little Italy!

    It was a great experience. Excellent food and service. It had been 7 or 8 years since we were last at The Standard and it was like a different restaurant.

    A gem in Cleveland Heights! Great food, great service, innovative cocktails. Large bar area and well designed table seating. We asked for slower service and the staff was very accommodating. Would highly recommend for business, personal, dates and family gatherings.
