Best Live Music Restaurants in Central Saanich

We had afternoon tea in the dining room at Butchart Gardens on Family Day Monday and found the experience to be quite lovely. We were warmly greeted by the host who checked us in, took our coats and after a very short wait we were seated by our server at a wonderful table by a window looking out onto the garden. The room was bright, impeccably clean and had all the hushed serenity one would expect in the garden setting… I felt the music could have been a touch louder as it was barely audible and might have offered a bit of ambiance and privacy. Our server was friendly, very pleasant and she explained our tea options and guided us through the service. We opted for the « sparkling tea for two » which featured a half-bottle of BC sparkling wine, and we thought the wine added a bit of a celebratory note to our experience. The first course was a bright and light lemon trifle, and was followed by the three-tier tea sandwich and pastry tower and of course the loose-leaf tea ( the rose tea was amazing!) The tower looked elegant, and was very generously filled with fresh and delicious small bites. Some were served warm, others were chilled and all were distinctly flavoured and well balanced, perfect for pairing with the tea offerings. We found the whole experience to be absolutely wonderful and left feeling fully satiated and thoroughly satisfied.

Saturday February 15/25. Great food and service. The ribeye and crab fettuccini was perfect. Didn't get the name of our server (tall, dark hair male with accent), but he was excellent; he's served us the only other time we've been here. Really like the atmosphere and you don't have to go into town Victoria. Love this place (but DON'T your raise prices).

Our waitress Taylor was very helpful and friendly. The dine around menu was delicious!
