Bar Red is located just east of Colfax and Glenarm, two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center and directly across Colfax from the Golden Triangle. Bar Red offers Authentic Italian cuisine. Happy hour from 4pm-7pm and dinner from 5pm to close. The menu was prepared by Chef Luke McCoy. Chef Luke is classically trained in French and Italian Cuisine. Chef Luke's signature Seared Salmon Risotto is famous amongst regulars. All of Chef Luke's dishes are meticulously prepared with fresh scratch ingredients ...and his house-made Desserts are to die for. The menu changes weekly with many mainstay dishes to please all foodies. Bar Red also features occasional live music and there is never a cover charge.     We came in for the Valentine’s Day special & everything was so incredible….the food, the drinks, such high quality & for a great price. Our only complaint was the length of time in took to get our drinks when we sat down (about 20ish minutes) & the length of time we waited in between courses. Regardless, it was a busy night & our waiter, Ron, was very kind! It was a special Valentine’s Day!

    From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with a contagious energy and charm that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Despite being incredibly busy, we were promptly seated and immediately felt right at home. It was refreshing to know we could enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. Our server was a standout—friendly, knowledgeable, and always checking in to make sure everything was just right. I can’t recall a single instance where he passed us by without stopping to offer assistance or ensuring our meals met our expectations. His attentiveness added a personal touch that truly enhanced our experience. Even the general and front-end manager joined in on the fun, sharing laughs and engaging with guests, which only added to the vibrant atmosphere. As for the food, it was a solid 8 out of 10—cooked well, good flavor. The drinks complemented our meals nicely, rounding out the experience nicely. Overall, we had a great time. I recommend giving this place a try!
