There was a live act at the music was very loud, which made our conversation a little difficult.More infoGrasso'sPrice: Expensive• American• Cold Spring Harbor•4.8

- SSandieVIPNew York City •91 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024First, Julian is the best server ever! There was a wedding rehearsal dinner in the bar room, so the noise was much greater than normal. Only partially thru our dinner did the adjoining doors get closed. Lamb chops and prime rib were perfect. The sides of potatoes (both roasted and mashed) and asparagus must have been plated well before the main, as they were cool. They need dessert options that do not include ice cream. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.More infoVolpe Ristorante at Fox HollowPrice: Moderate• Italian• Woodbury•4.7
- DDavidVIPNew York City •42 reviews5.0Dined on 20 Dec 2024We sat at the bar and the bartender couldn’t have been more attentive. The service was top notch. The food was very good. The octopus could have been tenderized a little more. Burrata was supposed to have heirloom tomatoes, but came with just regular Roma tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. I get it, heirlooms are out of season, but don’t keep it on the menu. Gnocchi was very flavorful but a little gritty. No espresso for the end of the meal so our bartender made espresso martinis. They were excellent. Overall, great date night. We will return.More infoOak and VinePrice: Expensive• American• Glen Cove•4.1
