Best Live Music Restaurants in El Cajon / Lakeside

Our service was great and our server attentive. I got the Surf and Turf Special. An 8 oz lobster tail with an 8 oz NY strip with carrots and mashed potatoes. The carrots were a little underdone and could’ve used some additional sweetness. Mashed potatoes were smooth and had good flavor. My steak was cooked precise and perfect. My lobster tail was over cooked. It was tough white all through but not glistening in the center. It was good with drawn butter but what wouldn’t be. I was with my wife and friends celebrating and did not want to make a deal over it or lead anyone in my party to think anything was not perfect because we were celebrating. I have been a few times and I may be back but I would spend money for lobster.

First time having dinner at the Grant Grill. We had rib eye and pork chop. Sarah was willing to assist and provide more information because we just couldn’t decide what to order. The food was tasty and delicious. The service by Sarah was superb and not rushed.

The ambiance here is so unique and beautiful! Airy, romantic, stylish and peaceful. And they let us bring our puppy. The food is simple but tasty and the value is one of the best in the city! We have been many times and will continue to come for brunch OR dinner! Today I loved the chai latte and white bean shakshuka. I always bring out of town guests to show it off.

Before anything else!!! The staff our waitresses Ms. Kim and Ms. Aria (I hope I got her name correct) were just incredible. Ms. Kim was so attentive, quick, friendly and just had a real good vibe- the food was good! And the portions were on point. Wedge salad, wings,corn dog bites and bacon wrap shrimp! My husband and I shared everything plus a few shots couple beers! All under $140 ! They have live jazz!! We were not seated in bar area! But you can hear the music anywhere you sit! I definitely want to go back and sit in bar area listen to music! Was a cool spot! I will be back!

What an amazing experience! The food was absolutely incredible, our server Nova was fantastic the whole night and the ambience was awesome. We could not recommend this place any more highly. This is a must go if you are a local in San Diego or just visiting! Beef wellington was delicious, the seabass risotto was possibly the best dish we have ever had.
