He provided us with detailed explanations of our selections and guided us through our order. Steak was top shelf, and both the Scallop dish and Crab Cakes were outstanding. Why drive to Boston when we have so many great steakhouses on the North Shore!More infoPost 1917 SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Reading•4.7

- PPaulavipGreater Boston •30 reviews5.0Dined on 15 Nov 2024Theresa's Prime is one of our favorite date night places. The food is always excellent quality, prepared well and to our liking. All of the servers and restaurant staff are well trained, polite, and very helpful. We especially enjoyed having Alan last week. He always takes great care of us and makes spot on suggestions. He gives us the right amount of attention and makes us feel special. I got the surf and turf which was a filet with their own steak sauce and 2 baked stuffed shrimp topped with asparagus. My husband got the filet. We found everything absolutely delicious. When a restaurant knows how to treat their customers, has fantastic food, and really nice ambiance you keep going back. Theresa's Prime does just that and more. We hope to get back there real soon!More infoTeresa's PrimePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• North Reading•4.6
- MMicahelSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews4.0Dined on 2 Nov 2024The food and the Charles was great. Two got the beef ribs and they were a very healthy portion and very tasty, as was the gravy on the mashed potatoes. Two got the scampi, it was very flavorful. The sliced zucchini with the pasta was a nice accompaniment. The side of bread was warmed/toasted and was the perfect combination of crunchy & chewy yet just soft enough. Service was good and attentive, but the server could have know more about the menu. The sound level was high and there was a sort of music bingo going on which while perhaps a local tradition seemed a little out of place in a finer restaurant on a weekend night. Cost was an excellent value for the quality of the food.More infoThe CharlesPrice: Expensive• American• Reading•4.3

The food was very good and the menu, although not large, allows for consistent quality of the meals. The redecoration was tasteful and the noise level was lowMore infoTavern on 28Price: Moderate
