Best Live Music Restaurants in University Heights

I ordered the beef wellington. It was the reason I went to The Red Door. The waiter warned me that they have trouble consistently cooking the wellington properly. I thought that was weird, but I gave it a chance anyway. Half of my filet was cooked perfectly. The other half was undercooked. Most of the pastry was undercooked.

Their ads on scallops looks good and juicy, however when was served on our table it seems the opposite of the adds, scallops are little bit small and dry. Steaks are well prepared and taste so great. Service is outstanding, thank you for the great evening. Ms. Hanna, our host, took care of us. Oh by the way the music is great too. Hope I can seat near the band on my next visit.

Friend and I visited for the Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner. It was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the lamb shank, beef filet, and added the sweet potatoes. Our onion soup and blackened shrimp appetizer choices were delicious. The pumpkin cake and apple pastry desserts were so good. The overall standout was definitely the lamb shank. Unbelievably delicious. The wine list is incredible and we complemented dinner with a lovely Napa Cabernet. The service was excellent and absolutely what you would expect. Bill, was a delight and even took a few photos of us for my visiting friend. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Incredible! We started with the sushi-grade Hot Oil Seated Salmon and the Whipped Buttermilk Ricotta with charred bread for dipping. We also had the Roasted Chinese Eggplant sitting on lemon yogurt and pine nuts that had the appearance of sushi and the taste of beautifully seasoned eggplant. We also had the juicy cheeseburger special which had perfect fries.

The ambiance here is so unique and beautiful! Airy, romantic, stylish and peaceful. And they let us bring our puppy. The food is simple but tasty and the value is one of the best in the city! We have been many times and will continue to come for brunch OR dinner! Today I loved the chai latte and white bean shakshuka. I always bring out of town guests to show it off.
