- LLynnvipNew York City •27 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoWe had Thanksgiving dinner there, which was festive, filling and flavorful! Note to self: never reserve for the last seating on a holiday - they always run out of key dishes. The soup was gone, as were the stuffed mushrooms as well as the apple strudel - not to mention the Brussels sprouts being silently replaced by string beans. Plenty of other choices, but not always what we would have selected an hour earlier. Note to the restaurant owners: swap out the oil filled, open, unprotected flame votives with wax candles in proper votive holders (or battery LEDs, they make gorgeously flickering realistic ones now). Especially in an historic structure with ancient chestnut wood beams. We watched in horror as a staffer cleared a table near us - accidentally lighting a guest's napkin on fire. It burst into flames, was thrown to the floor, stomped on, more flames and then picked up again, still flaming and shoved into a coffee cream pitcher. A lucky ending to a reckless decor decision. Would we return? Absolutely, for an earlier sitting - and hopefully safer decor.More infoPeter Pratt's InnPrice: Expensive• American• Yorktown Heights•4.7

On to dinner, the special of the evening was jumbo scallops over risotto, and it was amazing as well. On the menu is the chicken. Cutlet pappardale and say YES!!! So good. Add some nice wine, and great service and it's all around a regular go to.More infoThe GramercyPrice: Moderate• American• Yorktown Heights•4.5
- SsusanmNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined on 20 Nov 2024Lovely dinner, a favorite for special occasions, date nights and family celebrations. It was our son's birthday and the staff brought a Ferris wheel of little puff pastries and pots of chocolate and Chantilly cream. The service was very attentive and the food was delicious. The lighting is low, but lovely. The noise is a bit much -- high ceilings and tile walls and pillars, which, I don't know what you can do with that. But, overall, I recommend 3 Westerly for a nice night out.More info3 Westerly Bar and GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Ossining•4.4
