Opened in April 2024 by a family that has been operating restaurants in and around Old Town for almost 50 years. Located in the heart of Old Town, Mystic has a diverse menu featuring Texas style smoked brisket, baby rack ribs & Carolina pulled pork. Meats are smoked low & slow in BBQ champion Myron Mixon's signature smoker that is front and center in our open kitchen. BBQ is just one part of this southern centric menu that also features fresh seafood including our signature spicy she crab soup, low country shrimp & grits & creole bouillabaisse. Always a treat. Sitting at the chef's table/counter this time with my family. We had a great time and left stuffed. We had a bit of everything and everything was a treat. You could easily skip the entrees and just have the side dishes and be perfectly happy as they are awesome and unique. Watching them cook you realize they spend more time and effort toasting a piece of bread than most establishments in Old Town spend on you whole dinner. Looking forward to many more dinners over the years. The Cocktails are also top notch.

Had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. We sat at the counter and were able to watch the chef make everything. Since we went on a Monday, wine was market price, so we enjoyed the salmon special and pork chop with a bottle of wine. Too bad they're closing the restaurant portion, because we would definitely go back. Looking forward to taking some cooking classes there though!
