The food was delicious. The reason I gave a lower rating on ambience was because there was a back door that was used off and on and cold air kept coming to our table. It was an unusually cold night so it’s probably not usually a problem, but adding a door between that back hallway and the dining room might be a good idea. The server was great, and she made separate checks possible when it really wasn’t the policy. Very nice of her. Lovely evening. Thanks.

The service was fantastic. I am sorry not to remember my server's name- Black woman, khaki hat, locs, glasses, and kind smile. She was very attentive to multiple tables and gave authentic recommendations. The food was yummy- raw and baked oysters, grouper was the yummiest brown butter sauce, and the Mocha Crunch was mouth-watering. The drinks were also fantastic- Royal Hawaiin, the Tawny 10-year port, and the dessert. I will be back again. It was easy to make the reservation as well. I often go to places alone, which I did last night so that I can eat and work on my dissertation with little distraction, and this place will stay on my list!

We really enjoyed our meal at Trader Vic's. They have some really interesting drinks and tasty food. We loved the fried cauliflower dish we had as a starter. I had the rack of lamb as a main and my husband had the ribs. Both were fantastic. Our server was very friendly, helpful, and did a great job. We'll be back the next time we're in town!

We absolutely loved this place. Food and drinks were delicious. And the staff was fanatistic and accommodating. The GM was so kind to accomodate our time and head count when some of our party canceled last minute.
