Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Yountville

The food and service were exceptional as always. We've been visiting Mustard's Grill since 1986 and celebrated a birthday this time. The onion rings were incredible, the crab cakes, salads and hanger steak were outstanding. Eric provided excellent service. Our favorite Napa Valley restaurant.

Server’s name was Jimmy although when he said that it didn’t sound like that. My husband had rack of lamb. He said it was very good and I had filet mignon. My fillet was easy to cut, but it wasn’t real flavorful. They did give us different sauces and I liked the steak sauce. Came with vegetables and potatoes. They had some really good bread and butter to begin with. I had an old-fashioned as we had been drinking wine all day.

Ryan was amazing among the rest of the wait staff this morning. Biscuits and gravy were so exceptional that I ordered another to go. Unfortunately my ricotta pancake was cold but not to worry, I took it back to the hotel to enjoy warm. Fruit was super fresh and sweet. Eggs cooked perfectly. Next time I'm back in the area, we'll definitely dine again.

Garlic knots were ok-marinara sauce was tasty but the knots were barely warm. Pizza was amazing and salad was fresh and delicious. Service was a little sketchy compared to our last visit. We sat without water twice,had to ask for ranch twice and my credit card got lost in the mix somehow.The restaurant was quite busy so we will give a little slack. We would still come back because the food is delicious!

My husband and I had a lovely experience at LaSalette. The host was very polite and prompt and our server was knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Now for the food: I have food allergies and intolerances so eating out can sometimes be very tricky, I let the server know my special needs and she quickly directed me to items that could be modified or were already compliant. They offered my husband a roll and me gluten free crackers, which was thoughtful to provide. My meal of oysters, a whole Branzino, and a duet of sorbets was perfect. I felt perfectly comfortable and confident eating here. The next time we are in Sonoma we will definitely be going back. Thank you for a delicious meal. My allergies are gluten, dairy, eggs for the people who suffer my same afflictions.
