   I would give Flamestone Oldsmar more than the standard high 5-stars. Everything was, as usual, outstanding. Try the short ribs, you will be happy. And the baby back ribs were so tender and melted in my mouth. Price is right and the service excellent, as always.

    The food was excellent, or at least it could have been. We went to Mothers Day brunch, my breakfast burger was spectacular. My wife’s Crab cake Benedict would have been great too had they cooked it right. First it came out incorrect. Then the second attempt was cold. If it didn’t take 30 mins each time to prepare it we would have sent it back a second time. The service was lousy. Our waiter took our order and never returned. We had to get up to find a manager to have the food remade, and then he came back to call us liars and said the food was not made incorrectly the first time. Then he never came back to check on the food or our satisfaction, and did not comp anything either, not even a basket of beignets while we waited an hour+ for food. I get it, sometimes mistakes happen. But it’s how you handle it afterwards that speaks volumes. It would be more understandable if the place was busy. But it was dead, the manager and most of the staff was just standing around gabbing and waiting for everyone to leave. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this location ends up closing down, especially with the prices they charge. It’s sad when you get 100x better service from a Texas Roadhouse. The Trinity location has always been great, it’s just the Oldsmar location that we had this problem.
