Located in Fulton Market District within Chicago’s bustling West Loop, Formento’s is an Italian restaurant steeped with the bright and fresh flavors of Italy. Started with oysters which were very well prepared and our main pasta dish was not delivered until everything was cleared from our appetizer course which was a nice touch. Pasta was served the perfect amount for no left overs but wasn’t skimpy either. The vodka sauce was wonderful! Ending with an espresso martini and tiramisu can never go wrong. Will be back!

                                                                                          Oustanding food, but dinning room is a bit noisey. Luckily we were able to sit on the heated patio even during the heart of winter. Back to the food ... AMAZING. Extremely well prepared food. I strongly recommend this place for special occasions.

We unfortunately came shortly after New Year's so they were low on wine bottles, being out of two of our asks. Understandable, yet our server still went above and surprised us with an additional app. Will definitely be back.

                                                                                          Service wasn’t great, food took forever, drinks were extremely small because they ran out of martini glasses/normal wine glasses and had to put all drinks in a small wine glass. Because of this, the drinks were not portioned correctly and we knew this because we poured them into the martini glasses that we previously ordered that were still at our table. The service and experience was not great and we thought we would’ve gotten a free round or SOMETHING for our troubles, but no. The restaurant didn’t make any amends. The food was delicious though and we chalked it up to it being NYE, but paying $10 a head for the table made it seem like they could’ve put a little more effort in.

                                                                                          Kasia was a wonderful server! The restaurant service was great! The wine and food were both amazing! Huge portions of food and great for sharing! Very thoughtful staff. Loved the ambience as well! Will def be going back soon!
