Had a very nice evening in the piano bar. I had the roast chicken which was excellent but my husband had the chicken pot pie which was tasty but hardly any chicken which was a shame. Service & atmosphere very good.

Great experience. We had dinner here for a family birthday, 7 people. Everyone ordered something different and loved their meal. The steaks, pot pies, jambalaya and pastas we're amazing. Cheese board was also great. Great locale, lots of history. Spacious.

Spectacular food. We explored the museum first, and we thought our time in the restaurant afterwards might just be an unremarkable add-on to the amazing history of the place. But the food ITSELF is some of the best we’ve ever had in our 30 years of living in New York. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s what I expect to pay for food at this level of excellence. Truly delicious. Worth every penny. Cannot wait to go back. The Founding Fathers were there! It’s a thrill to read about everything that happened there and then sit down where George Washington himself had meals and drinks. You get to step back in time, feel a close connection to our incredible history, AND eat some of the best food of your life.

Friday afternoon lunch Predidents day week, Seemed appropriate! Hadn't been in years, glad to see it is still there! Went traditional , Presidential punch. chicken pot pie and sticky toffee pudding. Delicious , pot pie had sealed crust, no 'deconstructed biscuit on top here!, and ample chucks of chicken and carrots and good sized very green peas! Pudding could have used a litle lower cake in dish and more caramel sauce but dulce de leche ice cream was lovely touch. Service efficient and friendly.

Ambiance and the history is amazing! I wanted to come back and visit the museum. The character and history are wonderful and that’s the highlight. The service was awful!!!! It took 18 minutes for the server to take a drink order (he never introduced himself) he never came back to check in on us once we received our food. My bison burger was severely overcooked! If he had come back I would have told him the kitchen made a mistake but never had the opportunity to. I wanted more ketchup, but could ask for it cause he never came to the table. Our water glasses were empty most of the meal. I would have preferred a touch screen order system like McDonald’s over the neglect I received from my server. Unless someone else is paying my way to be there I won’t go back and will not recommend eating there! Visit the museum and the history of the building but do not sit down to dine!

This was our favorite spot during our 5 day trip, our first to NYC. Our 3 kids (12, 8, 7) loved every bit of this experience - from the food to the vibe. Don’t miss this great spot, 12/10 and they’ve already asked to go back tomorrow!
