    The Brussel sprouts were delicious. The filet was ok, but overcooked unfortunately and the asparagus was also over done and stringy. My halibut was overcooked and dry, the coconut rice was an odd pairing and not very good. The ambience of the restaurant is always good but the food was not worth the price and unfortunately I will not be returning. Second time I’ve tried and been disappointed both times.

    The food was amazing. We had brussel sprouts to start then salmon and scallops as our mains. The drinks were amazing and brulee was the best we’ve had topped with bacon bits. Service was excellent! Dana and Emma took excellent care of us. We will be back!

    The Gardens Restaurant at Sycamore Springs in Avila is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. We enjoyed the food of fried shrimp, butter lettuce salad, which was so fresh, and the seared ahi. The best part of our meal was the delicious creme brulee with sweetened bacon bits complimentary for my birthday!

    Everyone was very personal and polite. Our waitress Macy was outstanding. She was there for all we needed and our experience was #1. We are coming back for dinner on Wednesday night and would like to have Macy as our waitress again please. You have a very welcoming place, all the areas.

    Had a fantastic meal here last weekend. This place is a hidden gem that I feel needs much more recognition in the SLO culinary scene. Food was incredible, some of the best I've had in the area. They use local, fresh ingredients and every item was cooked to perfection. We had the filet, scallops and a green salad. Service was also on point. We look forward to many more meals here.
