We had an absolutely amazing experience for a special occasion—our friend’s wedding celebration. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The service stood out the most—our waiter went above and beyond, taking the time to show us different steak cuts and sharing his incredible knowledge of the menu. His attention to detail made the dining experience even more special. The host was equally fantastic—so warm, friendly, and engaged, making us feel truly welcome. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect for a celebration. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making this a experience to remember. I ordered a Sunday roast and a birthday cake when making a reservation on OpenTable three days before my visit, but I never received a response. On the day of my visit, the Sunday roast was sold out. Since my husband had been looking forward to it, his birthday ended up being a disappointing one.

We have heard nothing but good reviews about this restaurant, so we wanted to give it a try for Valentine’s Day as it seemed the right occasion and decided to go with the valentines set menu. The decor and look of the restaurant was stunning, however the service and food did not match. The service was very slow and was sat for quite a while waiting for our food, once the food did arrive we was shocked to find the starter was to share, which definitely was not enough for one person so ended up ordering another starter off of the standard menu. The steak we ordered was exactly the same, barely enough for one person and even though ordering it medium well it came out near enough rare. I’m not a fussy person when it comes to it but for a steak restaurant you would think they would be able to get the steaks cooked to what you have asked for. The shining part of the night was the desert and even that was to share, so while leaving still rather hungry and quite disappointed, for how much I had paid for the evening I don’t see myself coming back. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Overall good experience. The red wine needed to be cooler (room temperature was too warm for that Malbec). We had the large 900gr t-bone which was good but undercooked and like warm when it arrived.

Not what it used to be. Service was excellent but couldnt make up for the dry sea bass, cold broccoli etc, worse dessert. Not worth the price even after a discount to make up for poor food. Sadly - Dont think we will come back …

Lunch outside in the rain before watching the rugby at Twickenham but under cover with heaters which worked well, service was outstanding and friendly, and food and Guinness were delicious. Nice touch putting previous week’s match on the TV to get us in the mood. Thank you!
