Germantown Cafe never disappoints! The French onion soup is one of the best in Nashville, the monkey bread is a must-order, and the Eggs Benedict—whether with crab cakes or chicken sausage—is spot on. The topless mimosas flowed for two hours, making for a fun and relaxed brunch. Huge shoutout to Austin, who was friendly, super attentive, and kept everything running smoothly. Great food, great drinks, and outstanding service—can’t wait to come back!

Germantown Cafe is a friendly place to dine. The atmosphere is contagious & I love the ambience. My server, Austin is fantastic. He's so friendly & easy to get along with. I love his spirit... I will be returning & asking for him... Brunch is always great..

Excellent experience! The French onion soup was amazing. Only thing was it could have been a little hotter. BBQ pork chop and Mac and cheese were outstanding and my husband loved his steak. The drinks we had were delicious as well and out sever was attentive without being overbearing. Will definitely be back!

5 course with wine pairing night was fabulous. Food was delicious and the wine pours were very generous. Enjoyed getting to know the wine maker and his wine.

Thank you to our server who kept the food and drinks flowing at a very smooth pace, checking on our table frequently with much attention to detail. She was very warm and concerned about everyone’s needs and requests. The food however was subpar and over cooked. The meat and veggies did not taste fresh. Hopefully these issues get resolved and the tables won’t be so empty next time. Service is important but quality of ingredients is absolutely paramount.

Party of 7 wanting a place to have good food and good conversation. Germantown Cafe delivered on both. Noise level was moderate to low. Our server Abigail was so sweet and attentive. She recommended the curry salmon and it was amazing! Our group had a lovely evening.

We heard so many great things, we were looking forward to dining here. The greats - very nice ambiance, French Onion soup was excellent! The pretty goods - the entrees (Chicken Milanese and Ahi Tuna) were good, but didn't make us say "this is amazing!" (Again, French Onion soup WAS a notch above most!) The just okay - For us, the service. Our waiter wasn't super helpful and seemed annoyed with our menu questions (and we didn't have lots or weird questions, just a couple typical questions about sides). The service was very quick, until we were done...we had to wait awhile to get our bill. Our other just okay - and this may be picky - but we had soda to drink and it wasn't "cold and crispy" - just had that more "stored at room temperature and thrown over some ice" taste. If you aren't picky like me this probably sounds crazy - but if you are - you know what I'm saying :) Overall - not worth the price paid, for us. Our bill for two was $100 plus tip and we definitely did not walk away feeling we had eaten a $100 meal. We may try again for brunch sometime. But our dinner experience unfortunately disappointed.
