   We ordered a blood orange old fashioned for $14. There was one huge ice cube in the small glass and it only took five sips to finish. When we told the waitress, she agreed that it was a rip off. We tried to order mashed potatoes as a side, and we were told they were out? The salmon had rice and no vegetables for $34. I do have to say that our steak and salmon were cooked well and were delicious. The drinks are over priced, service is fair, and the meals should be better balanced for the money.

   We were there on a Sunday. Reservation at 2 pm. Half the menu was not available. Food that we did eat was cold. Appetizers were very good. Not sure we would return. There for my daughters birthday and was asked why we were there on line when making reservation and nothing was ever said or addressed.

   Been here a few times over the past few years that my son has been at Penn State. It has always been a stellar meal so we were excited to go back this year (2024). However, the food was definitely not the same. It was very bland across-the-board. As Chef Ramsey would say, “A little bit of seasoning goes a long way, yes?”. Very disappointed. Could’ve just been an off night, but Saturday nights you should definitely have your best chef on duty. I don’t know, maybe he went to the football game on campus that day and couldn’t answer the call. Not sure if I’ll ever go back.

   I ordered the Country Fried Chicken. I was expecting some real southern fried chicken at $27. What I got was what seemed like frozen breaded chicken fingers, re-deep fried (overcooked). It was accompanied by mashed potatoes which were ok, and a bowl of collards which were over-spiced and inedible, also not southern. I’d heard Gigi’s Southern Table was hit or miss. This food was a way over priced miss. The regular cheesecake, as opposed to the fried cheesecake was delicious.

   Absolutely incredible food and drinks! The blackened chicken cavatappi and shortribs were amazing. Love the decor and music here too!

   We ordered 3 appetizers, as well as entrees and sides. Their garlic shrimp is usually my favorite, but it was severely underwhelming. It came out room temperature with lack of seasoning and flavor. There must be a new chef because the recipe completely changed. We also got the Farm Frites which are supposed to be charred green beans, but were undercooked and crunchy. We also got the biscuits, smash burger, pulled pork, Caesar salad, and side mashed potatoes. Everything else was good. Their Caesar dressing was delicious. Smash burger and pulled pork came out room temp. Waitress didn’t read specials and only checked on us 3 times the hour and 45 mins we were there. It was also empty with a few other tables.

   We were 2 families for parents weekend and wanted a nice dinner away from busy downtown. The food was really good but the service lacked slightly. Soups came out with entrees and our server didn’t tell us there were specials. I’d go back but maybe save for a special occasion.

    Sat within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Lots of menu options which was nice for my teenagers and vegetarian wife. Service was friendly and timely. Would definitely return.
