   Waiter was not familiar with the Scotch and or wine list that was available. Once we chose a wine he brought out a wine that was $60 more expensive as a substitute at the higher price. Baked potable had to be sent back as it was slight cooler than room temperate. Steak had good flavor but was served on a cold platter which chilled the steak quickly.

   I have eaten at H3 many times and this was the first time I was a bit disappointed. We had to send one filet back as it was over cooked. And the one filet we split was not cut and seared before serving (and I always do this), we only got one salad and one potato and in the past it’s not been an issue to get extra potato and salad for a small up charge. I’ll be back in March and try it again tho because we love H3!!!

   Steak was overcooked had to send back 4 of us and all food was not hot it was just warm like it sat waiting to come to table. We have been here many time but disappointed this time.

   My daughter and I both had the prime rib. It had good flavor as usual but this is the 1st time when we received our meal the plate and food were only luke warm. Usually the plates and food are very hot, but hey everyone has an off shift here and there. Usually they're spot on but not tonight. We'll definitely return again though.

   Delicious food. My favorites are the bacon wrapped filet, pork crunchy tacos on the appetizer menu and the porterhouse. Their salad is always fresh. Love the sourdough bread and whipped butter. I think it’s the best restaurant in the stockyards.

   The restaurant is great to family, couples and friends. The food is delicious. We had the filet mignon and the smoked sirloin. All the sides are delicious.

    Overall the atmosphere was what you’d expect. We got seated pretty quickly (we did have a reservation). We ordered steaks to eat and were pretty disappointed. My ribeye was the leanest ribeye I’ve ever had. A ribeye is a fatty cut of meat. That’s where the flavor comes from. Mine had no flavor. My wife got the center tenderloin (I think) medium rare. It was overcooked (more like medium well). We actually sent that one back which they took care of without any trouble and cooked another. The next one was still a bit overcooked but better. My wife didn’t think the flavor was very good, but I thought it tasted pretty good. Overall, for how much those steaks cost, definitely not worth the price. The fries and the queso appetizer were good. And the menu looked like there are lots of good options. Hopefully they aren’t as disappointing as the steaks. If you’re looking for good steak, go elsewhere!
