Harpoon Henrys Seafood Restaurant is proud to offer a spectacular waterfront view, fresh seafood, and the latest in California Beach Cuisine. We offer our guests harbor views from our dining room and our outdoor waterfront patio. For 46 years, we have provided the best in service, ambiance, and cuisine. We have been winners of awards from the Southern California Restaurant Writers Association”, a finalist for Dining Excellence from both the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce and the County of Orange, and our wine list has been awarded a Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence.”

Our servers were very nice, Liliana was training. The ambiance was pretty and decorated well for the holidays. Unfortunately the sliders were dry, the Parmesan ahi and the mashed potatoes were cold; my salad was served with pears and tomatoes that were not fully ripe. Our server did a good job bringing several sauces for the sliders, the other items were not brought to their attention (servers). My clam chowder was good and I would order it again. Lastly, the ladies restroom is very small and with only 2 toilets be prepared to wait in line.

Made a 6:00 reservation but showed up early for happy hour and sat outside waterfront. I had the house margarita and my wife the house Pinot Grigio. Kids had coconut shrimp. Marg was fine, shrimp good but wine not great. Beautiful Xmas lights on the palm trees. We then proceeded upstairs to the dining room where we were seated immediately. Waiter was friendly and explained the menu. We all ended up all eating the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi, with garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The fish was among the best we have had! Highly recommend Harpoon Henry’s Seafood!

Great way to enjoy ending the day being on the water. We enjoyed the shrimp and filet Mignon with a surprise birthday dessert.

Lovely views out the window and we were there just before sunset. (Before clocks changed) Everyone liked their fish: swordfish, haddock, ciopinno entrees and scallop and calamari hors d’oeurves. Wait staff great and patient with our 14 month old grandson. Definitely recommend.

One of only a couple left in Dana Point Harbor due to construction. It's a very nice place with great food. Watched a seal cruising around the boats while we ate. Very relaxing with good friends from Idaho and great food. Our waiter Isaac was fun and really did an awesome job. Made him laugh when we told him he was a great cook.

We came here for the first time as we had family visiting, and it was a mid-point place. We had brunch; their menu had quite a few options, and the food was delicious. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside, but the inside seemed quaint, and there was a full bar available if needed. There is a small parking lot so early is suggested, but they do seem to be building a parking garage.
