   The service was impressive! What you find on the menu is not the typical selection. I had duck and was very happy about how it tasted.

   Exceptional service , great vibe, food was well above average. When you want an above average night out but don’t want the stuffy atmosphere this would be the spot. Based on eating in the bar area. If you want a more intimate time go to the dining room. Highly recommend reservations especially if go with the intention of a show down the street afterwards. I would go back again just for the awareness of the staff for those trying to time showtime after dinner.

   We love Higgins— it is extremely consistent and always delicious. The bar vibe is great — less formal, more chill, and you can order from whole menu. It’s honestly a 30 year favorite spot. I can’t eat gluten and there’s always great gf options.

   Have been many times and usually food is 5 star, but the last couple times has been disappointing. My seafood stew last night was so salty as to be inedible (they did remake it and then it was great) and my wife's risotto was very strangely perfumed and not tasty (to be fair, they didn't charge us for it). We often come here before going to a show at the Schnitz next door but I think Higgins needs to remember that while it's all great to be fancy and noveau cuisine, th3 food should still be craveable and noteworthy, especially at their prices. But at this point we'll just settle for appetizing. Get it together, folks...we want to keep coming!

   Top-notch food and top-notch service, I’ve never had a better steak in all my life, a little known fact, they are the first farm to table restaurant in all of Portland, five out of five stars

   Love Higgins before theater. Tonight reserved 545 pm for 730 show. Food not out til 710! Next time will reserve earlier. Love the menu, ambiance, staff.

   Higgins never disappoints. They were able to accommodate a change to the time of our reservation, which was greatly appreciated. Everyone in our party loved their meal, and the service was excellent, as always.

    My wife and I sat at the bar and Charlie brought me a glass of stout and Kelley a glass of Provencal rose'. Lunch for me was the best cassoulet on the planet and Kelley's smoked goose breast and tart with salad was fabulous. Greg is a genius. Thanks entirely. Cheers, Andy
