Hiro 88 is an up-scale Pan-Asian restaurant in Omaha's Old Market. Serving some of Omaha's best sushi along with award winning Chinese food we have something for everyone's palate. We offer an extensive selection of sake, wine, beer and liquor.
We can accommodate up to 25 diners in our private room and have experience with events ranging from rehearsal dinners to pharmaceutical presentations.
In addition to our dining room and lounge we also have two large patios. Both Patios have full dinner and drink service. We also have Happy Hours Monday-Friday 3pm to 630pm, and Saturday 3pm to 6pm and Reverse Happy Hour Friday and Saturday 10pm to Close and all day Sunday!!!
For groups of 8 or more we do add 20% gratuity to the check. Please specify if you will need separate checks, have children that will require a highchair, if a high top table will be acceptable, or if any guests in your party has dietary restrictions that we need to be made aware of.

We do offer off-site catering. We need at least 24 hours notice. A delivery fee of $15.00 applies as well as a minimum of 15 entrees (for delivery). For groups of smaller size, arrangements can be made for the order to be picked up. All dishes from Chinese to Sushi platters are available for catering.
Private party facilities
Our private dining area seats up to 25 diners. We have an 80" projection screen. All other audio visual equipment must be provided by the customer. The room has separate climate, lighting, and audio controls to create the perfect ambiance for your special event.

Being slightly off of the main streets of the Old Market, parking is more accessible than in our surrounding areas. We have a good amount of metered parking in front of our building. Weekday parking isn't typically an issue. We do suggest allowing additional time during weekends to acquire parking.

We were seated at the far end which was bright and loud. Other areas of restaurant lead better ambience and lower volume level.

Always a great spot for pre-orpheum show nights. Service is guaranteed great, food and drinks are always delicious and served expeditiously. It’s a go-to spot!

Had a reservation for 7 PM, we arrived on time. We waited an hour for drinks and didn’t get service until 8 PM.

I had requested a quiet table, and was given an out of the way spot that was good. Server was not really very helpful, although he was nice. We kept asking for recommendations, and he wasn't too good at that part. Our sushi was very meh, like grocery store. What is a sushi restaurant without a bar where you watch it being made? Our fried dumplings were good. The cheap plastic medicine cup that comes with the dipping sauce in it is inelegant, to say the least. I had to ask for a wine list. My wine glass was heavy, stemless and cheap with a thick rim. I had to ask for a dessert menu, was told there isn't one, there's only chocolate cake. Cake was not described or recommended. I ordered it anyway, and it was surprisingly the best part of the meal. Coffee and after dinner drinks were not offered. Sigh. Do better!
