   My first time at Hudson29 in New Albany, I've dined at the UA location 3 times. Brought a close friend of mine who lives in the area. we had Ashley B as our server, she did a great job! service was a little slow, even though the restaurant was pretty empty. (I chalk that up to the time of day that we went, I know oftentimes that the transition period between lunch and dinner can be awkward for restaurants.) That was NO PROBLEM for us though, it meant we had more time to catch up! Highly recommend the Hudson29 Cheeseburger, I've had it multiple times, and It's now my go-to burger! we also loved the Ahi Tuna Tartare!

   Hostess not very welcoming. Server was pleasant. The salad was delicious as well as the side of potatoes. The omelet was tasty, but was not very warm when served.

   Server only visited our table 2 times, once to take the drink order and agin to drop off the drinks and take the food order. Had a food runner drop off food and the manager had to clear and drop off our check and cash us out. Server had a table next to us that she spent most of her time visiting with. Food was overcooked. I ordered the vegetable sandwich that said it had artichoke hearts on it but they left the artichoke leaves on the artichoke hearts. I had to pull them off because you can’t chew them. Fries were cold and Prime rib was well done vs med rare as requested. It’s hit or miss here, sometimes everything is great and other times we swear we are never coming back…

   Too warm inside to enjoy our meal. We asked a few times for the heater to be turned off. Even the waitress said it was hot. My champagne needed ice by the time my meal came. Not comfortable dining temperature. Our waiter was amazing though!

   Jonathan provided great customer service, allowed us to customize just how we liked items and couldn’t have asked for more. Everyone had a great time and had to take desserts to go and extended the great experience.

   We were a large group of friends and can be really loud. Our server and was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our food was good and all enjoyed. We had a good time on a cold Sunday night.

   Entrees and wine were great. Service was a little slow this time and not as attentive. One of the best gluten free desserts in town, Hudson 29's Berry Cobbler, was ruined by trying to speed up the process. They replaced the "cobbler" portion with a ton of thick, overly sweet graham crackers which made it inedible. They were kind enough to refund our money for the dessert. Please, please return to the original, scrumptious berry cobbler recipe.

   Come for my brother's birthday and the meatballs always steal the show! Emily, our server was sweet. My husband was highly impressed by the new fish entree ! Kudos to the Chef ! Thanks for a wonderful birthday dinner!
