The blue crab app for $25 was also over priced and small portion and not fresh at all. Very disappointed bc we go to Hugo’s atleast 10 times a year Not sure we will return

We loved the New Years Eve special of lobster tempura, ribeye steaks. The regular menu also offered a wonderful redfish and grilled and cooked oysters on the half shell. Try the Hugo’s oysters cooked with bacon, cheddar cheese and a jalapeño slice!

The redfish was cooked perfectly, husbands tuna tartar was over dressed as was the thin slice of iceberg wedge salad. A slice not a wedge. Gumbo was mostly liquid and very very spicy. Praline salmon was spot on. I get Cajun is spicy but not to the point inedible. Service was great.

Calamari, fried shrimp, red beans and rice, collard greens, Mac and cheese, Parmesan flounder, gumbo are regular orders for us and we come back time and time again. Also, the filthy old fashioned is delicious! Whit is a great waiter now bartender. Drop in soon!
