There are three items on the hula Grill menu that are gluten-free and if you are not in the mood for one of those three items then don’t eat there. It’s very frustrating. Tamari and soy sauce taste the same and if you soak your meat in a sauce that contains soy sauce then why not use one so that even those of us who cannot eat wheat can still dine there? It’s frustrating. I love life, music and rock ‘n’ roll. The band from Dukes was so overwhelmingly loud up in the hula girl restaurant that we couldn’t even hear each other. I’ve dying here many many times and I love the venue, but unless they change the menu, I will have to reconsider in the future. I don’t have a choice about being gluten-free and I need to go to restaurants that understand it .

Really enjoyed our meal except for the crab wontons (they tasted fishy). However the swordfish and mahi specialamd the classic mahi they’re known for was super fresh and tasty! Make sure you leave room for hula pie!
