    Drinks are well made, tableside preparation was engaging and thoughtful. Presentation was very nice, would return on quality of food. Good energy, atmosphere was initially loud but that was due to presence of a younger skiing population, the later evening settled well and the finish was pleasant. Thank you for a fine experience.

    We were looking forward to dinner at Hy’s after reading about it in our travels. The food was really good as expected. However for the price there was no actual wow factor which could have been due to the flat service. . We have eaten at many Michelin Star restaurants, when a restaurant charges such high pricing there is a level of expectation pre -set which sadly Hy’s didn’t hit the mark. The greeters were lovely, however the waitresses and waiters were flat and seemed just doing their job, the food felt like it was just dumped in front of us and a feeling of disinterest. Maybe we got unlucky, maybe it was a bad night for front of house, unfortunately even though the food was beautiful, the service let it down and when a restaurant charges the prices of Hy’s the service needs to also match.

    Very easy to book - and needed to amend our time on the afternoon of our booking and this was easily accommodated. The food was fabulous - cheesy toast as good as recommended. The carrots with pecans so good . The service could have been better, took a while for the table to be cleared between courses, we were not asked if we wanted further drinks (which we would have had). A shame the service let it down.

    Classic steak house experience. Absolutely top notch service. We had a relaxed experience by eating at the bar. Nice selection of BC/Okanagan wine that didn’t break the bank. On a Tuesday night it was about 75% full, but the layout allowed for a quiet atmosphere. Will definitely return!

    Outstanding food and service. Always a great place for incredible food and a classy atmosphere in Whistler. The steak is always cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.
