   This was my friend's and I third time celebrating the Holidays at Il Cortile (Thanksgiving & Christmas), and it has officially become our tradition to visit! The food is always amazing, service is great, and the overall vibe feels like home. Super grateful to the service staff for yet another great experience! Can't wait to come back next year!

   We had booked this restaurant because of the ambience and to get us into the spirit of Christmas after landing in New York earlier that day: when we walked in we were blown away by the feel of Christmas however we were led all the way through to that back of the restaurant to a area that basically looked like where the workers would have sat and eat their break! I asked if there was any chance we could have got a table further in the restaurant and was told that was for people who had booked and I said I had and he wasn’t very helpful. Especially as we turned up there was a walk in of 3 people in front of us and they were shown to a table right at the front of the restaurant. Food was ok wasn’t blown away but was bad. Waiters were ok doing their job. One was very attentive and bringing water. Wine was good. Overall felt it wasn’t the experience we were hoping for.

   One of the best and most special dining experiences I have had we loved meeting Tommy and hearing about how the family has been running  the restaurant for generations! The decorations in ambience is amazing and a great place for locals and tourists

   We made a reservation and when we got there we had to wait with another parties also waiting for reservations and received no communication from hosting/wait staff on what was going on. We went across the street to Buona Note and were given excellent service.

    Very romantic and very tasteful food. Servers were excellent and the atmosphere was beautiful. My only complaint is we were sat towards the back of the restaurant away from all the beautiful decorations. However a good plus from this was it was more private. Overall the food has me already wanting to visit little Italy again
