   Service was very good, food was good, small portions. If you prefer your steak medium, you'll need to ask for medium rare as their medium is medium well. It took two steaks for us to find that out. The wait for the food was a bit long, so plan ahead if you have little ones.

   Absolutely amazing experience. From entrance to dessert. Kyle was an incredible waiter. Made a recommendation for the octopus which I wouldn’t have personally chosen, but was mind blowing. Incredible recommendation. Sebastian, the manager came over and recommended an Italian red wine which was absolutely perfect. The vodka rigatoni with scallops was delicious as well. We will be back! Thank you Sebastian and Kyle!!

   Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Portion size of salmon on my Regina salad was very small. I was surprised because that’s my go to dish there and the portion has been reasonable in the past.

   I’ve frequented the studio city location and was pleasantly surprised to find the new Woodland Hills location held the same great quality and excellent service. Rebecca, our server, was bright, pleasant and on our very wish. Even my stogie parents were impressed with her attentiveness, which allowed them to enjoy the dinning experience and Il Fornaio’s excellent food. If there is a complaint, and it’s. It on the restaurant, it was the rude and dismissive parking attendants that “The Village” had in place. I’m not saying I need a person to bow and scrape but this parking flunky made it seem like I was inconveniencing him by asking for my car. I almost snatched my $5 tip (on to of the $20 flat valet charge) right out of his hands. The cashier and the supervisor did not intervene or say a word. I’ll be unerring of self parking from now on. That’s said, I’ll Fornaio is excellent and I will be coming back again and again.

   We had such a great time here for my fathers birthday. The staff were all so nice and accommodating, from the host to the bartender and especially the waiters. All of the appetizers, mains and desserts were delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. We miss the Pasadena location, but this is our new favorite il Fornaio!

   It was a strange evening due to the wildfires and harsh winds. However, the restaurant and staff did well to get our minds off the situation with our favorite dishes.

   I had the salmon for a birthday dinner of which was hot in temperature for 10 minutes and after that it was cold even the broccolini and the potato’s turned cold very fast! I had an ice tea to drink with no refill! They gave me a birthday gelato for dessert of which I was not a giant fan! The server took my drink and entree order and my dessert and the bill in a timely fashion but never came around to refill my ice tea and check up regarding how is the food to your liking?
