    Great Gnocchi. Some pastas had too much sauce so hard to taste flavors. Otherwise, nice Saturday night date night.

    It is always a special treat to go to Il Poggiolo. Food and service is top notch. Always my first choice for Italian for work clients, good friends and family. Excited that I was able to make Christmas Eve reservations for family this year!

    We have eaten there many times and never been disappointed. Tonight I ordered the veal Parmesan which I’ve had before. However, this time the veal was overcooked and dry with edges of the meat very hard and difficult to cut. Overcooking veal can do this. The meal was sent back and replaced and was not any better. We weren’t charged but I was disappointed because I was looking forward to enjoying my dinner. Let me add that I have never sent back a meal and typically would just grin and bear it. Must have been an “off” night for the chef.
