   I reserved a table for 6 at 3:00. There was one other table seated, a couple. The food was delicious but took extremely long to come. Considering he had no other tables to wait on, he was extremely inattentive for the price we paid and experience we were hoping for. My fiancé’s ribeye was ordered Medium Rare, and came Medium - Well, almost Well Done. We had to flag another staff member down as he did not check back with us but disappeared for long periods of time. As a former steakhouse server, I’m aware of the importance of checking back quickly regarding how everything is tasting, and if steaks ordered if they were cooked correctly. Again, I was trained to either come back within a few minutes of dropping off the food for a check back, or you can even ask your guests to cut into the center of their steaks prior to leaving the table. We probably would have drank another bottle of wine, but instead rationed because he wasn’t around. Whatever was left in the bottle, he didn’t top off, and we served ourselves. No big deal there really- especially if busy but a bit annoying when put all together. Absolutely love the restaurant and food. Half my party also wanted the Whitefish dinner and it was not until we tried to order he informed us no whitefish available, which put my guests in a scramble as we had an event to go to afterwards. Considering the amount of money spent, the server still made a super easy large tip simply based off % not service. He could have maximized our experience and his tip. We really would like to host our Rehearsal Dinner there, but service must be way better!!!!

   Loved the candlelight dinner experience although a couple by us kept their menu open the entire meal so they had “additional light” which was blaring in our eyes all through our meal ….. I think someone should have told them this was hurting the ambience for the rest of the patrons around them. Our server was amazing and informative and we enjoyed our time!

   We visit the Ivy Restaurant three times a year. It has excellent food, a wonderful ambience and great wine selection. The wait staff and owner our amazing. Our favorite server is Didia, She is fantastic.

   As celiac diners, We were very happy to find this venue with an amazing array of gluten-free options. The staff was very knowledgeable and very eager to check and double check anything we requested to ensure medical safety. The food was a lovely array, and we sincerely recommend this location!!
