When I arrived there were only boosters tables available. The recepción desk did not cooperate to help us locate a table but a very nice young server helped us to locate an excellent table. Without his cooperation we had not been able to sit down confortable. Very nasty and luck of taste at the reception. Don't know if we will be back .

This was our first time celebrating Thanksgiving at a restaurant and it was wonderful. J. Gilbert’s is our place for special occasions, so it was our choice for this holiday. The menu was very traditional, which is what we wanted, and there was no skimping on portions. Of course, it didn’t compare to what we make at home, but the trade-off was that we avoided all that work and clean up just for the two of us. Happily, we will have turkey sandwiches for a couple of days - our favorite part of Thanksgiving. Our waiter was very personable and gave us just the right amount of attention. The ambiance was perfect and the noise level was low. It was such a lovely evening!

Four of us spent a delightful Thanksgiving at J Gilbert's. The staff is exceptionally courteous and accommodating. Our server was terrific. She answered questions, provided suggestions and demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism. One cannot say enough about the Holiday menu. It offered a wide variety of the traditional fixings, served in magnanimous portions. We all took the leftovers home.
