Jake's is a casual, upscale European-style bistro nestled in a secluded courtyard at the epicenter of the Mid-Century Uptown design district of Palm Springs. Much like the architectural and style artisans that surround it, Jake’s takes cues from the past with a nod to the future in the kitchen and behind the bar. Classics are given a surprising twist while new flavor combinations excite the palate. Likewise wines come to us from both New and Old worlds. Of course, save room for something from our signature dessert case! Since 2007, Jake’s has offered al fresco dining as well as seating in our cozy dining room. So join our friendly, approachable and knowledgeable staff for lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch!

    Great dinner here although the outside could use one more heater. Only one table was covered.

    We had a late reservation and ended up sitting in one of the dining rooms alone. In hindsight, I wish we had asked to be seated in a more common area, which was bustling and fun. Other than that, the food was very good (other than having to ask for extra Beurre Blanc Sauce for our Chicken) - the Crab Cakes were amazing - and the drinks were very good.

    Made the right choice for new Years Eve, fantastic food and atmosphere, excellent service with a super friendly vibe.. The best spot in the Desert !

    As usual, the food was great. The service was great however, the newly remodeled space needs some decor. The room we were in, felt very bare and cold, and needs some type of artwork on the walls.

    We love this restaurant. However, the new room/addition needs some decor and sound attention. The staff and owners are so friendly and we love supporting them. However, the food was less than stellar. The steak was dry and hard to eat, and the lamb chops were tiny and over priced. Otherwise, we love going here...Must have been a bad night (NYE)

    We had high hopes for a lovely new years dinner but the food was a major let down. The sausage fennel pasta was lacking cheese, overly salty and not restaurant quality. The Thai shrimp peanut noodles were stodgy and extremely overcooked. The staff were attentive and the setting was nice unfortunately the food let it down.

    Food was good, service ok, but the room we were in was so noisy we couldn’t hear each other talk. If you go here, ask to sit in the patio and avoid the front rooms.

    Growing pains. They’ve recently expanded their space which looks nice, but they really seemed to struggle to keep up the day we were there. Waited 20 minutes after our reservation time for our seats to be ready, sat at the bar and waited another 20 minutes for our drinks while the couple next to us ordered after us and got their cocktails well before we did. Our food took forever to come out. The food there is good, but they have work to do. We’ve been there many, many times and tell people visiting PS that this should be on their list, but this was not the experience I want for us or for our friends.

    Jake’s Miami Vice salad and soft shell Crab BLT are perfection!! Everything is great, but we love these 2 so much we never move on. 🤷🏻‍♀️
