    This was our final full day at Hotel Spero, and it was also our final morning at Jasper's. The morning staff has been awesome to us ever since we first stepped foot into Jasper's. That said, 11.18 is also Natasha's birthday, and they were sure to make it extra special by starting us off on the right foot. We appreciate you VERY much, and we look forward to seeing all of you again soon!

    When we arrived at 11:15, the "Hostess" seemed perplexed that there was a reservation and said to wait a minute. There was no one in the dining area and waited for over five minutes to be seated. Our party was seated and the Waitress, helped another table that was seated about 5 minutes after us first. Not a big deal, but it just struck me as odd. We ordered our drinks (2 Bloody Mary's and One diet Coke. It took a while to get our cocktails and it took even longer to get the soft drink, which I had to get up and find the server and remind them. On the plus side, the food came at a reasonable time, the Eggs Benedict were good, especially at the price point, the scrambled eggs were plentiful (The American). The Bloody Mary's were good.

    We just had happy hour snacks,which were satisfactory. Service was inconsistent. For example, it took 15 minutes to receive the water we requested.

    There are very few places left for a good Sunday brunch in the ACT Theater district. Jasper's Corner is a "safe" choice. While staff were friendly, service was quite low as we had to go to the bar to order drinks and fetch our own menus after quite a while being seated. Food is reasonably priced and after another long wait, came out of the kitchen hot. It was tasty yet more on the diner scale. Don't expect gourmet, but from our experience, your meal will be fine. Good for families or small groups.

    We booked a table for 2 for 8:30pm. When we arrived, the very friendly server told us that the kitchen closes at 8:30. We showed her the booking, which also had more availability for 9pm. She took a screenshot of the availability on the open table app and said she would tell the manager as the information on the app is not correct. She said they would keep the kitchen open to serve us. We ate and left promptly.
