A fresh take on American cuisine using the finest ingredients, served in a classy yet casual setting with a family-friendly atmosphere. We prepare delectable seafood, numerous gluten-free options, and natural meats raised without hormones or antibiotics wherever possible.

All reservations will only be held for 15 minutes. Please call if a later arrival is needed and we will tell you our next available reservation.

We are unable to honor more guests than made on the original reservation due to limited seating. Please call the restaurant directly to see if changes to your guest number can be accommodated. We apologize, but guest number increases will not be able to be accommodated upon arrival to the restaurant. We also are not able to honor additional numbers left in the notes.

Carriages cannot be taken into our dining room. We will place them at the host area while you dine.

The food and service were outstanding. Perfect place to choose for our celebrations. My filet was so tender and flavorful. Everyone enjoyed their food immensely. The texted me to let me know someone in my party left something behind. All around a great evening.

Best part of the meal was the Beef Carpaccio and the complimentary dinner rolls! Our server was very pleasant. Only minor complaint was both appetizer and salad arrived together

Ryan our server paced things well. Friendly reception at the front door and the host came by during dinner to make sure all was up to our expectations. We enjoyed the calamari which is enough to share. I loved the cod and my husband loved the lobster carbonara. We have dined here before and would recommend this restaurant highly. We plan on returning again soon.

Been visiting Newport for well over a decade on work trips, eating out all over south Thames all the way up to Providence. Hear me when I say, Jo’s is hands down the BEST quality and consistency of food you will find in ALL of New England. I’ve eaten dinner here now 3 times this month alone and wish I had found it before Restaurant Week… such👏🏼a👏🏼gem💎 The steaks are always cooked perfectly, the pork chop is succulent and juicy and the desserts are European quality! And yes, I’ve lived in Italy for the past 3 years so not just a tourist speaking. Make your reservation now!!

Our food was great! We had the Surf and Turf special. The meat was tender and the sides were delicious 😋. Our server was attentive, engaging and professional. Possibly the best meal I have had at Jo's.
