    The Whiteface lodge welcomes you to join us on Thanksgiving, as Chef Gregory and the culinary team have developed an exquisite menu. Coupled with the dining experience in our grand hall of Kanu restaurant, there is no better place to spend Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving Grand Buffet will be served from 3pm-8pm on Thanksgiving Day.     Our waitress Jess went absolutely above and beyond for us. She was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful and hospitable. The ambiance was homey and romantic and the food was incredible. Thank you for a wonderful honeymoon dinner!

    Totally overpriced and the food wasn't that great at all. $30 for a hamburger and fries so salty you can melt snow. Food definately lacked presentation as well. Ambiance was definately nice and the complimentart breakfast was good but I wont come back again for dinner. Drive 5 minutes into town for better food at a cheaper price.

    This was our second experience at Kanu. The food is very good, but pricey. The ambiance in Whiteface Lodge is spectacular. We sat in front of the roaring fire. Service was prompt and attentive. We both had the trout which was a nice change from the standard Chilean Sea Bass of most restaurants. An excellent dinner.

    We both had wonderful dinners. My wife really enjoyed the shrimp pot pie and I loved the trout. Excellent food and excellent service!

    The service was slow! Fireplaces were off even though it was cold. The squash apple bisque was bland, the venison beef albondigas were tasty but overdone. The wedge salad was really good. We got the wrong vintage of the wine we ordered but it was a fabulous Zinfandel regardless.

    The server was lovely but forgot our serving/eating utensils during multiple courses. The food was underwhelming with the exception of the bison burger which was quite good and perfectly cooked. The ambiance was interesting, likely lovely when the restaurant is full but on the slow Sunday evening on which we went it felt half closed.

    Nice dinner in a beautiful room. Server was excellent. Creative cocktail menu. Prices charged on our bill were higher than listed on the menu. Would return.

    We had my grandon with us and asked for his food before ours. His food came out quickly. We enjoyed our entrees very much, however, they took longer than anticpated with very few guests in the dining area.
