   When we arrived, we were informed that only guests with reservations could be seated, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. We went ahead and made a reservation and returned at the appointed time. However, when I showed our reservation to the hostess, she rolled her eyes and shook her head. It became clear that ‘you need a reservation’ was just a polite way of saying ‘we don’t want you to eat here.’ It was an embarrassing and uncomfortable experience. For anyone in the area, The Pelican Club around the corner is a much better option.

   We never got served our drinks, even though we reminded our waitress several times. My meal was cold. We left after the entrees.

   Crawfish appetizer on French bread was amazing! I wish we found this place sooner than the last day of our trip.

   Glad to see this Restaurant is being successful at getting customers in the door. If you were a group larger than two, it looked like you were having a wonderful experience eating very good food delivered to your table. Promptly followed by beverages that were also being delivered promptly. I experienced none of that. The bar was backed up. The kitchen was backed up 60 minutes between appetizer and Maine. When the main came, it was quite cold. Seemed like it had gotten lost in the kitchen and no one had realized it. To their credit, the entire meal was comped. But all I did was get a very poor meal for free. I’ve bought much rather paid for a good one wishing the restaurant luck in fixing their service problems.

   Excellent all-around. Bourbon pecan pie to wrap it up was terrific.

   We booked in and got there 15mins early. Waited over an hour for starters that were not great. We hadn’t finished our started and the entrees were dumped in front of us. The food was microwaved. My greens were brown. The bread stale and crumbled on touch. I feel sorry for the wait staff who have to deal with the customers when the kitchen is not under their control. I refused to pay for the food because it was inedible. I have never in my life refuse to pay for food…that’s how bad it was

    Waiter poured water all over me and my phone. Then took over 15 mins to take my order. The drinks were prepared but they didn’t bring it so the ice completely diluted the drink by the time they brought it over. AVOID!!!!
