Located within the Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort, Chef Micah Windham and his culinary team have created seasonal gourmet menus with the freshest local and seasonal ingredients. Meals are are served family style and al a carte in Kingfisher's lodge-style setting which features exposed wood beams, river rock, a roaring massive stone fireplace and sweeping views of Icicle Canyon. In the summer months, the terrace is available for outdoor dining. An extensive wine list highlights local favorites and compliments the menu. Welcoming you to Kingfisher Restaurant is a one of kind outdoor glass art installation created for Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort by Dale Chihuly, called The Icicles.

From the region of the Country of Georgia we are inspired to host a modern take on the traditional Keipi Feast, with guest Host & Tamada leading the evening through a series of celebratory toasts to honor community. The country itself has been a breadbasket of variety and amazing growing conditions. Some of the oldest wine recipes and techniques still hail from this area. We have paired this gathering with nothing other than Icicle Brewing to toast the evening with. We are honored to bring a fantastic experience to the Kingfisher Restaurant & Magpie's Bar January 10th to celebrate the New Year in a traditional fashion!

Very disappointing: over priced, unimaginative food (e.g. self serve buckets of vanilla, chocolate & caramel ice cream for dessert), bland/no decor (especially when promoted as a special occasion New Year’s Eve meal) and careless bartending (e.g. asked for a cocktail to be served up; it arrived on the rocks; sent it back and received a drink made with Campari instead of rye)

Decidimos cenar en este restaurante porque aceptan mesas grandes, fuimos mi familia y unas amistades. De inicio nos pasaron rápido a nuestra mesa pero después de eso todo fue decayendo, después de 10min de que nadue nis atendiera la que nos recibió nos pidió disculpas por no tener un mesero asignado, después la chica que nos asignaron tomo nota de las bebidas y alimentos y tardaron otros 20min en traernos las bebidas y ya ni hablar de los alimentos (cabe mencionar que el restaurante estaba poco ocupado). La comida como tal estuvo buena y bien servida, pero el tiempo de espera y los errores en lo que pedimos hizo que no fuera una buena experiencia. Adicionalmente tuvimos que solicitar que corrigieran la cuenta ya que teníamos un par de cosas que pedimos pero que nunca llegaron a la mesa

Shoutout to Aireana! We’re visiting from Hawaii and booked this place in advance. It was a good choice! Food was amazing, but most importantly Aireana was amazing! I would recommend and also request for her as your server! I got the Rib Eye cooked to perfection!

We have been to the Kingfisher restaurant many times before Covid, and this was the first time since they reopened. We were extremely disappointed, the food selection at the buffet was minimal, no rolls available no appetizers like in past years, the dessert table, very minimal, the salad bar was messy and disorganized, Overall was not the experience that we had hoped for on our Christmas day dinner.

Lovely setting, but at $70 a plate the food was fair! Some items were under cooked and some over cooked. No rolls or soup and desserts were small. Such a disappointment from when we dined in 2018. The mandated 22% gratuity was excessive for a buffet. I should have trusted my gut and listened to the reviews and picked a different place.

Had a reservation for Christmas Day dinner. Did not realize it was a $48 fee to get there and back. Did not realize they Only had a buffet for dinner at $70/person. That would have been good info to have on the Open Table site or texted to us in advance. I guess we expected more variety of food choices for $70. Salmon was overcooked, scalloped potatoes were undercooked and the prime rib was a bit chewy. Not trying to complain, but just trying to provide feedback since the restaurant is trying to gain momentum. Service was great and friendly and Sleeping Lady was one of the few restaurants actually open.

Our waiter was incredibly kind. Food was average but it fed us and that’s all we could ask for on Christmas. Thank you for coming in to work in low key blizzard conditions to make our Christmas special. You guys rock!
