Kinzie is always a great place to go whether it's dinner or lunch. The staff is super friendly and attentive and we always feel taken care of. Not to mention the meals. Kinzie's is a perfect place for a lunch meeting or to meet your favorite person for a nice lunch. It is always a great place for dinner and the carrot cake is incredible!

Restaurant Week Prime Rib did not disappoint, however, the "Sea Bass", looked like tilapia - thin and soggy skin sagging off, not a thick piece of white fish. I was disappointed, and when my first bite had a bone, I was done. I gave the little filet to my date. The grilled Greek Salad, was rather boring - sauteed and maybe grilled, red onions, green & red bell peppers, tomatoes with Feta, and olive mousse. Maybe if lightly grilled romaine or endive was included it would have added a softer texture relieving my jaws of the constant motion of chomping.

The food was absolutely fantastic! The service was poor. It seems that our 2-person party was neglected in favor of the larger parties in our section. Simple requests were ignored and no one checked on us once during our 4-course service to see how we were doing.

Unanticipated tasting menu in a Steak House. Nice blend of sea food and meat. Started out small and built into a substantial meal. The starters were unusual and surprisingly good. Lobster Wellington was delicious but a little over cooked. 85 day dry aged rib eye was the star of the menu. It was rich tasting, complex and buttery although there was some gristle. PS the cocktails and wine met our high expectations also!

I used to have a great dining experience but have not been there in the last 2 years. I don’t know what happened but everything about it this time was just below average. My stake was over seasoned and over cooked. Service was average not great. I enjoy having a cup of coffee at the end of every meal but was cold and bitter; I can tell it was an old brew that had been sitting there. A bit disappointing considering Kinzie was one of my favorite stake houses. Maybe it was the Monday C team/service; don’t know, regardless I won’t suggest this restaurant again.

Great spot not our first time here everything is excellent we did surf n turf fillet we had ribeye steak we had extra lobster tails crab cakes shrimp. Everything was delicious the waiters were very attentive.

Disapppinting!!! This was our first time at Kinzie Chop House……likely our last! We arrived and were seated. Soon some food was brought in for other diners and sat on a tray table after a person delivered it and it stayed until a member of the wait staff came to put it on the table for the diners. We saw this happen as we at there. One arriving party had to wait to all be seated until someone came and took the food off the tray and served it to the diners. Our food arrived, same thing. We waited and waited, finally my husband got up and took the food off the tray and put it on our table. This is crazy and unacceptable. Food presentation was nothin special. We ordered the risotto with the lobster tail. The tail was cut into chunks and plopped on top of the risotto. Definitely nothing special.
