Good experience overall. Service was a tad slow but it was a busy time. Server did the best he could. It’s a lot of food for the money so great bargain!

Matt did a great job for our business lunch of 6. Food was good and correct temp when it arrived. I would recommend Kona to anyone in the Avalon area.

We waited for 20 minutes despite having a reservation. The cocktails were not well crafted and the sushi was just ok. We won’t be returning.

We came for happy hour and was dissatisfied with the quality of the drinks we ordered and our server wasn’t as attentive to detail, but the food was good.

Kona is a fun upscale restaurant set in lovely Avalon. Always excellent food. The only problem this time was that their 'system was down" and we werent able to use our gift card...which is why we went in the first place.. they should have notified us at the hostess desk so we could decide if we wanted to stay.

The food is not as good as it use to be. The server was amazing! Very patient. Very attentive. So disappointed in the food. The miso soup needs work. Taste like beef broth was added. The stir fry with rice, my son had to force himself to exchange for a safer meal, a burger which was not a good way to spend Thanksgiving there for dinner. Not sure what happened to Kona Grills food.

I thought the service was awkward. Also, the restaurant had a strange smell. One of the sushi rolls was excellent. The other sushi roll was not good at all.
