   We were seated right away for our reservation. The hostess said our server would be right with us. We sat for 20 minutes before someone even stop to speak to us. The server was very polite and friendly and professional. She got us our drinks and answered all of our questions. Then within a few minutes she was back with our drinks and took our order. We didn’t get our food for another 45 minutes. When the food finally arrive one order was wrong and the steak that my wife ordered was somehow both cold and over cooked. The server took it back and had the kitchen remake it So another 20 minutes later my wife finally got her steak but my kids and I had already finished the sushi that we ordered. The quality of the food did not measure up equally to the price we paid. Even with the steak being comp’d the bill was outrageous. This is worst restaurant I have eaten at since before the pandemic. I will not be returning.

   Worst experience I’ve had. Terrible service, food took 2 hours to come out, they forgot items we ordered and the price is outrageous for what you get. It was my friends birthday and not only did they not acknowledge it but it took them 30 minutes to get her a margarita to the table.

   Not the most professional hostess situation. Made our reservation over a week earlier, weren't prepared for us. Mary seemed to be a newer server and was great! Obviously overwhelmed by the # of tables she covered. Wine came VERY slow and food orders took a while as well. Not inexpensive... but fabulous food! We were early and there were very few tables ...

   Walked into restaurant, and were seated. We then proceeded to sit for almost 15 minutes without being acknowledged. We then left. Horrible service, ended up going to yard house and had a wonderful experience. Never coming back to Kona Grill.

   Melissa is an exceptional person and created a wonderful existence for us. Kona has always had a special place in our hearts but having Melissa at our side took it to a new level. We adore her and know Kona is very lucky to have her

   Hadn’t been there in such a long time. Such a beautiful so wanted to sit on the patio. Our server was friendly. Those are the only two good things I can say. The food was truly terrible! Ordered the Asian salad and server brought a California roll. My friend ordered the lettuce wraps….hers was inedible. My salad was a bowl of cabbage. The California roll had a terrible crab salad for filling. The location is a premier one; so sad the food is so bad. I’ll never go back.

    Great food consistently. Went during the plaza art fair and the service seemed a bit harried. Ordered the rum drink and it was tasty, but seemed to have little or no alcohol in it - my spouse got the same with the same result. Admittedly restaurants are spread thin during the Art festival but we were expecting a little more for the cost of dining. We’ll go again for sure, but not during an event.
