The Krebs is an historic restaurant founded in 1899 by Fred and Cora Krebs. The restaurant has been a popular landmark in Skaneateles for over a century, serving presidents, dignitaries and celebrities. The Krebs was re-opened after undergoing a complete renovation while carefully preserving the history and ambiance that visitors have grown accustomed to. The restaurant is a farm to table concept that utilizes the freshest hand selected local ingredients and the highest quality meats and seafood. All profits from the restaurant are donated to local women and children's charities of Central New York.

I brought my mom to The Krebs for her birthday celebration and we couldn't have made a better choice! From the ambiance, Christmas decor, Christmas music, phenomenal service and exceptional food everything was beyond what we expected. Our server, Erica, was attentive, kind and enjoyable. I wish I could give her more than 6 stars!! We will be back for sure!! If you are looking for a quiet and enjoyable place with exceptional food visit The Krebs. Happy Holidays!!

We had a fabulous experience at Krebs! It was our first time there, and every single aspect of the evening was perfection. From the young man who greeted us at the door and took our coats, to our waiter John, the service was top notch. Our cocktails, dinners and dessert were all absolutely delicious. The cozy ambiance throughout the restaurant was wonderful. We’ll be back for sure!

Very very good! Food and service were great. Portions were generous and presentation was good. Wine selection is outstanding. Overall, a great experience. A sure selection on our next visit to the region.

Normally a great place love it there!!! I think they where busier than they thought. Food was cold and under cooked took us 2 hours 45 minutes for a 350$ bill. Normally love it...very disappointed this time

Second trip to this Fabulous Skaneatlas Lake Fine restaurant! Service is outstanding and food is exquisite. Jack at the Bar served high end cocktails with Flair and our server Antonio was above and beyond with paying attention to details! We felt like we were Family. Definitely would recommend going for any occasion. Well worth the trip. Cheers!

The design is excellent and makes for a lovely evening. Maybe there were too many waitstaff?? Almost a little chaotic with so many people moving around the room. And while the food was outstanding, the prices were very high and the portions really small. Example was the scallop entree, 3/4 of the plate was empty/$42. The short rib dish included exactly 1 small short rib/$38. While we had a good meal, our waiter was goofy and we left hungry after $180 before tip. Went home and got out some cheese and crackers. Not sure we’ll do that again soon.
