In the beginning. Tapas is a daily event in the life of the Spanish culture. Mainly a Northern Spain, Basque regional tradition, it has grown to signify a way of eating and socializing. It is a custom that dates back past the 1500's. Traditionally, the exact food served is less important than the social occasion. Tapas is a way of life. It signifies leisure, camaraderie and good humor. In Spain, Tapas are almost always accompanied by wine. They are not so much about talking as they are about eating and drinking. The wine is the medium that holds the conversation with friends and the food together. You make time to enjoy the moment in an unhurried way. The threefold purpose of snacking on tapas is to dull any hunger pangs that have built up since the previous intake of comestibles.

    Great mid afternoon destination to avoid evening crowds and enjoy excellent, interesting food and drinks. We’ve been coming for years and continue to find it to be delightful! Highly recommend for a positive energy experience

    What an adventure for the palette! The food was delicious and every dish had complex flavors! Our waiter was awesome and the atmosphere was very elegant.

    Good energy spot- very, very loud- which most tapas places are so not a problem- wonderful server and hostess- food was a mix of very good to meh- paella was tastey- would go back with a group

    Our first time dining at La Bodega. We were going to “Barber of Seville” so why not have tapas? The service & food were quite good & the Spanish Coffee a real treat. We will return, however not on a busy Saturday night. As others have written, this restaurant is indeed loud. 😱

    Short rib was too salty. One side of the almond cake had a light garlic taste- maybe heated on the same area as other food. Serves were very friendly.

    We hadn’t been to La Bodega is quite some time but happened to be in the area so we stopped in. The food was just as incredible as we remembered. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, without being overbearing.
