   If it weren't raining, parking would probably not be an issue. The crowd that came in after us had the driveways blocked. Overall, we really enjoyed the atmosphere once inside! lol.. It was just a miserable night to be out.. But it was our anniversary and we made the best of it.. Our server, Taylor, was the best. We will definitely ask for her table when we return.

   The wife & I eat here often & unfortunately this was not a great experience. They had the same Valentine menu as the night before & obviously used some of the same food. The menu was prix fixe ($65/person). The oysters rockefeller were cold & bland & the brie puff pastry seemed out of place for an appetizer with little flavor. The Ceasar salad & lobster bisque for the next entree were good. We both had filet for the main entree - good flavor, very small and I ordered medium rare & it was medium plus. For dessert I had chocolate creme brulee & the wife had cheese cake. My brulee was underwhelming but the wife's cheesecake was very unappetizing. It was hard as if it had just been unwrapped from a grocery store freezer.

   Always a great place to enjoy a great meal. We had a lovely dinner, I had the pecan crusted trout - delicious (wasn’t fond do the butternut/ricotta whip but that may just be me). Wife had the pan roasted pork tenderloin, great, too much to eat. Crème Brûlée desert great, coffee barely warm. Good wine selection, good bar, overall a wonderful experience.

   Iconic local hotel. Classic mountain country decor, wood, leather upholstery, fireplace, wood plank floors. Very cozy. Great service, excellent food, beautifully presented.

   We found old school dining in Rabun County. We were a bit hungry and: We started with prosciutto with some not cream cheese but a nice surprise; A couple of salads, a wedge but was served on Romaine, filled to the brim, very nice, and another salad with mixed greens, mango, etc (don't want to spoil it) Both very refreshing. Main course duckling, cooked crisp, very succulent and another surprise, we could not decide on the Filet or something. The waitress recommended the short rib and we were pleased. We held off on desert and an after dinner drink, some patrons were taking desert to go. We needed to navigate our way back to Seed Lake and the road in and out is quite the adventure. It was worth the drive, we will be back soon!

   We had the pleasure of dining at with Lake Rabun Hotel yesterday for brunch, the serve was amazing from the time we entered the building. We ordered the Rabun Burger and Shrimp and Grits both were outstanding!! Definitely a place we would recommend to everyone. We will definitely be back.

    Wonderful brunch, we were excited to try the Eggs Benedict, however they were not on the menu anymore. Bummer! But Trey suggested we give the shrimp and grits a try, and I must say they were delicious. Amazing service, great food, and delicious drinks! We will definitely return!
